Job Overview:

We are seeking a versatile and highly motivated Associate Merchandising Manager to join our team. This multifaceted position requires a dynamic professional who can seamlessly integrate product development expertise, B2B/B2C sales acumen, and effective project management skills. The ideal candidate will drive US business growth for Hybe artists’ merchandise through innovative product development, strategic partnerships, and exceptional fan engagement experiences.

[RESPONSIBILITIES]

Product Development & Management

  • Oversee the entire product development process, from concept ideation to production and distribution, ensuring alignment with artists’ identity, company vision, and US business growth.
  • Manage product development stages, timelines, and schedules to meet business goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and HQ in Korea to ensure seamless communication and execution of development plans.
  • Partner with vendors, manufacturers, and forwarders to manage production and logistics timelines.
  • Monitor the shipping process, ensuring compliance with import/export regulations and timely delivery of merchandise.

Sales Planning & Execution

  • Create and manage detailed sales plans for merchandise across B2B, B2C (offline), and online channels.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and revenue projections, incorporating risk management strategies.
  • Analyze sales performance data to optimize future strategies and drive profitability.
  • Own the creation and maintenance of sales orders, outbound deliveries, and invoice processing, ensuring streamlined sales operations in our ERP system (SAP).

Supplier & Partner Management

  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and contracts, and oversee QC measures.
  • Identify and develop strategic vendors, wholesale, and distribution partnerships to drive revenue growth and expand market reach.

[QUALIFICATIONS]

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Merchandising, Product Development, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a relevant industry.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom) is required.
  • Proficiency in both Korean and English preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and external partners.
  • Strong understanding of fandom culture and its impact on merchandising within the Music and Entertainment industry.

Salary $80,000 -$90,000/ year
