Overview

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated Clinical Research Nurse to support its expanding research program. This role involves managing and executing clinical trials that advance care and will ensure efficient study operations and compliance with all regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities:

The Clinical Research Nurse will be responsible for the following:

Patient Care

• Provide compassionate and expert care to research participants.
• Perform clinical assessments and procedures within the RN scope of practice, including blood draws, injections, and neurological assessments.
• Monitor and report changes in patient conditions to the Principal Investigator (PI) and other relevant personnel.

Data Management

• Ensure accurate and timely data collection and reporting.
• Maintain compliance with study protocols and sponsor requirements.

Recruitment & Enrollment

• Develop and implement strategies to recruit and retain research participants.
• Actively screen and enroll patients in neurological clinical trials.

Study Coordination

• Oversee all study-related visits, procedures, and activities.
• Schedule participant appointments and prepare required study documents.

Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to all federal, state, and institutional regulations governing clinical research.
• Work closely with the study team to maintain the integrity of the research program.

Qualifications:

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science or health-related field (required).
• Current RN license in the state of employment (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• CCRP or CCRC certification from SOCRA or ACRP (preferred).

Experience

• Experience conducting clinical trials (preferred).
• Experience as a primary research nurse on drug or device trials (preferred).
• 3+ years of nursing experience with patients in a neurology clinical setting (required).

Details:

Location: Carmichael, CA

Pay: $40/hr-$62/hr (Dependent on background and years of experience)

Hours: Monday - Friday; Normal Business Hours; Onsite 5 Days a Week

Duration: Contract to Hire (1040 Hours)
