Exciting Opportunity for an HR Recruiting Assistant!

CLA is on the lookout for a Temporary HR Recruiting Assistant to support the full-cycle recruiting process at a well-established law firm in Columbia, SC . This is your chance to become a key player in a dynamic HR team while gaining invaluable experience! This assignment is expected to last at least six (6) months and is ONSITE.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Initial Phone Screenings : Conduct light phone interviews, ensuring that only the best candidates move forward in the process.
• Scheduling Interviews : Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers—your organizational skills will be crucial here.
• Administrative Support : Provide valuable administrative support to the HR team, including uploading and scanning documents into Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) , creating new hire packets, and assisting with other HR tasks as needed.
• Collaborative Teamwork : Work closely with experienced recruiters to streamline the hiring process and ensure a smooth experience for candidates and hiring managers alike.

What We're Looking For:

• Knowledge of Full-Cycle Recruiting : From screening resumes to scheduling interviews, you'll be involved in supporting the recruiters every step of the process—helping to connect top talent with this thriving law firm!
• Prior experience in a human resources role is a big plus (1-2 years preferred).
• Strong experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills —you’ll be juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You’ll need to be extremely organized with great attention to detail.
• Team player mentality, ready to jump in and support where needed.
