Key Responsibilities:
Conceptual Design/Design Development:
Collaborate, coordinate, and assist Senior Interior Designers and Project Architects with p roject tasks.
Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budgetary constraints.
Develop design concepts, mood boards, 3D models/ renderings for presentation materials to communicate design proposals effectively.
Create space plans, furniture layouts, and interior architectural details.
Conduct site visits and surveys to assess existing conditions and gather necessary information for design development.
Material Selection and Specification:
Research and recommend suitable materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures for each project.
Prepare material boards, samples, and documentation to present design selections to clients.
Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers to source and procure materials.
Construction Documentation:
Prepare detailed construction drawings, including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations showing millwork and power/data, floor and wall finish drawings, sections and details.
Provide specifications and schedules for interior finishes, fixtures, and equipment. • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is accurately reflected in the construction documents.
Review and approve shop drawings, samples, and mock-ups for compliance with design intent and specifications.
Client Relations:
Cultivate strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs and providing exceptional design solutions.
Conduct client presentations and meetings to present design concepts, progress updates, and final design deliverables.
Respond promptly to client inquiries, concerns, and feedback throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide post-project support and assistance as needed.
