Sterling is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join a leading food manufacturing company. If you’re passionate about food safety, compliance, and quality systems, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead food safety and quality assurance initiatives to ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee and develop a team in a 24/7 production environment.
• Manage third-party audits, regulatory inspections, and customer quality inquiries.
• Drive continuous improvement by developing policies, procedures, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and leadership teams to enhance quality systems.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, FSMA, GFSI, and other regulatory requirements.
• Oversee allergen control, GMPs, metal detection, and gluten-free certification programs.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of progressive QA experience in food manufacturing, including management or supervisory roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biological Sciences, Nutrition, or equivalent experience.
• Certified SQF Practitioner with strong knowledge of FDA, FSMA, and GFSI standards.
• Leadership experience with the ability to train and develop teams.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Experience in co-manufacturing environments is a plus.
