Job Description

Successful candidates will provide both quantitative and qualitative analysis to support business decisions and overall financial health. You partner with Leadership, Finance and Project teams to develop and monitor revenue plans for Nexus projects and ensure adherence to billing and chargeable hour plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, forecasting, budgeting and analytical activities to inform various business decisions
• Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis of operational aspects of the company to forecast and evaluate progress toward goals
• Develop revenue plans for Nexus projects; monitor plans to ensure adherence
• Collect and synthesize master data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
• Analyze industry trends and make recommendations based on those trends
• Monitor data to assess accuracy, quality and integrity
• Illustrate and communicate findings to appropriate parties
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations and internal controls
• Automate reporting and forecasting tools as relevant for more efficient use of data
• Generate ongoing and ad hoc reports as requested
• Investigate and resolve issues related to data integrity and integration

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• 15 years’ experience in financial planning and analysis
• Strong business acumen
• Ability to apply discretion when working with confidential or sensitive information
• Ability to convert financial data into relevant, actionable information
• Strong accounting, financial statement knowledge and capacity
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; high proficiency with databases and accounting software
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Skilled in mining financial and numeric data
• Demonstrated curiosity and ability to challenge existing processes and systems
• Skilled in managing multiple, competing priorities; flexibility to shift focus when needed
• Strong partnering and collaboration skills
• Proven ability to operate with integrity and empathy and build lasting trust-based relationships
