ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* MIG welding of aluminum and stainless steel sheet metal fabrication parts
* TIG welding of aluminum and stainless steel sheet metal fabrication parts
* Able to read and interpret blueprint and drawings
* Knowledge of measuring equipment (caliper and micrometer)
* Able to do complex welding projects
* Work from work order, samples, drawing, written and verbal instruction.
* Ability to lead a team
* Train others in the proper use of the equipment
* Set goals for each of the members of the team and support as required
* Consistently monitor quality of product to maintain quality standards.
* Identify parts for inspection - as required (part of the overall quality control process)
* Update travelers and input as required per job
* Able to define, evaluate, and discuss quality workmanship related to welding
* Maintaining workplace housekeeping to provide a safe, clean work environment.
* Detailed Oriented

* Conflict resolution
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
* High School diploma or GED
* 5 years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment
* Understanding of production and manufacturing processes
* Physical demands (lift to 30 lbs.) when needed
* Pushing up to 25 lbs. to 40 lbs. max when needed
* Carrying up to 25 lbs if needed (distance) 5 ft when needed
* Walking about 10% of the time
* Standing about 70% of the time
* Knelling, squatting, bending, twisting when needed 20%
* 5S/ Lean/ six sigma experience or equivalent training
