Job Title: Business Analyst (Integrated Eligibility System)

Location: North Carolina (Hybrid)

Duration: 1-Year Contract

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Integrated Eligibility Systems (IES) to join our team on a one-year contract in North Carolina . The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in IES and should have previously worked with State Client . This is a hybrid position , requiring a mix of remote and onsite work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements for IES projects.
  • Work closely with state agencies, IT teams, and vendors to ensure smooth implementation and integration of the eligibility system.
  • Conduct gap analysis, process mapping, and impact assessments for system enhancements.
  • Facilitate meetings, workshops, and JAD (Joint Application Design) sessions to capture functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Develop detailed business process flows, use cases, and functional specifications.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), identify defects, and provide recommendations for system improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to eligibility systems.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Integrated Eligibility Systems, including knowledge of policy frameworks and best practices.
  • Assist in change management, training, and documentation efforts to support system rollouts.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst in Integrated Eligibility Systems .
  • Prior experience working with State Client on IES-related projects.
  • Strong understanding of eligibility programs such as Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, and Child Care Assistance.
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, including IT and business stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with requirement gathering, documentation, and process improvement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Visio, and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment with both remote and onsite responsibilities in North Carolina.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Prior involvement in large-scale state or federal government projects.
  • Knowledge of system modernization and cloud-based solutions for eligibility systems.
